(Noun) A group of gay bars, all with bird names, that existed in the neighborhood of Lexington & Third Avenues in the lower 50's and upper 40's in Manhattan in the early 1950's. Probably the origin of the gay slang doing the bird circuit.
Usage: The Blue Parrot is on the Bird Circuit.
